This past Saturday we held our second annual BBB Complex Art Show. The weather wasn’t on our side but the turnout was phenomenal despite the rain. We partied pretty damn hard and made a hell of a mess (even for us) but that’s the way we like it! Thanks to everyone who came out and participated with us and especially those who took pictures. Congrats to our raffle winners and of course the artists who helped us create the most amazing bags we’ve ever seen. Several bags sold the night of the show but you can still get your hands on one through the online shop.

If you missed the event, you should definitely have a look at some of the great photosets out there. If you had half as much fun as we did, you might need the pics to refresh your memory a little.

Yesterday morning, Chris and Big Dunn rose obscenely early in the morning to make an appearance on Urban Jacksonville Weekly to talk about Burro Bags. UJW is a weekly internet radio show / podcast that focuses on issues and events in Jacksonville’s Urban Core. The show is hosted by Joey Marchy of Urban Jacksonville, Tony Allegretti of The Urban Core, Jonathan Bennett of Jacksonville.com and produced by yours truly.

Beard Bandanas Are Back!

The return of the Burro Beard Bandana.

Last year we printed up some green and brown beard bandanas and we couldn’t even keep our hands on them. We’ve been out of them for quite some time but they are back with a vengeance! You still get both beard styles and expressions but now on your choice of red, blue or green. We’ll be printing on these colors for the next three months after which they will no longer be available so grab one while you can!

For the past few days we’ve been secretly working on some videos with our good friend and local artist, Ian Chase. He graciously let us use his diner, The Fox, and got tons of footage of us goofing off. This one’s just a teaser, a little taste of what’s to come.
