get ready to RAGE
It’s finally here! This Wednesday we will be opening our new retail shop in Downtown Jacksonville.

The party will feature new murals painted for us by Shaun Thurston, music from DJ TRICLOPS I, and free beer courtesy of Shantytown/Lomax Lodge and Red Hat. The event coincides with Art Walk so you’ll already be in the neighborhood. Come see what we’ve been up to and check out downtown’s newest addition.
BTW, the party is also the jump off for the third annual Zombie Bikes Bury Your Bike event. After the party, ride your bike to TSI and get free admission and more free beer! Then it’s a weekend of total chaos with rides, shows, dancing, drinking, polo, tricks, you name it.

If you don’t already know, here’s some photo sets from previous years to get you psyched!

new Burro Tumblr
Lately we’ve been busy, busy, busy. Pedal Straps are shipping every day, we have a mountain of custom orders and we open our shop in ONE WEEK! Rather than do a full blog post for every bag that gets made (even though each one deserves it), I thought I’d make it a little easier.
Head over to Burro Bags Lite to check out quick pics of new bags as soon as they roll out of production. There you’ll get to see all the crazy awesome custom bags we make that you might normally miss. If you have your own custom Burro and you want to show it off, don’t forget about the Customer Gallery where you can upload pics and comments of your own personal creation.
We may be up to our ears in orders but we would like nothing more than to help you build the perfect bag. Head over to the Build Your Own Page and tell us what you want.

Fixed Fight 4 Photos! Try saying that fives times fast. Spotted over at Prolly’s is cobrabyte’s flickr stream full of pics from the St. Pete event.
There’s our little prize bag on the right next to it’s R.E.Load brother.

And check out Team Burro’s Furoche getting gnarly as always with in his Burro straps.

Boy had a broken toe in case you didn’t know. CHURCH! We never lie…

pics from aloha sunday
Looks like the boys and girls of Aloha Fixed threw themselves a damn successful event. Aloha Sunday went down on April 18 and Sau estimated upwards of 100 participants. Mahalo y’all!

Second place sprinter went home with a fresh hip bag in our new colors. Ay girl, what’s your ratio?

one-off bag for fixed fight 4
Sent this puppy over to Todd today. Handmade in Jacksonville, FL by Ursula and Chris. Lookin’ good!

Turns out R.E.Load was tapped for one too. Both bags look pretty rad in my opinion so there should be some pretty stiff competition for these badboyz!
If you’re in or around St. Pete this weekend you should check this shit out. All types of bikes are welcome so get out and support Florida cycling events! For more info check out horroh.com.

t-shirt sale
To make room for new stuff, we’ve vastly encheapened some of our old stock. Most of these shirts are the last two or three (if not the last) of the bunch. Head over to the Sale and Clearance page to get one (or all of ‘em) before they’re gone!

Beard-themed alleycat race
Burro is proud to sponsor the second annual Bay of Beards Beard and Mustache Contest right here in sunny Florida! If you know us, you know we are super proud of our beards and just about anything that starts with the letter B (bikes, bags, beats, beers, babes, etc).
The event kicks off with a pre-contest bike race. We’ll be sending over some fresh Burro gear including some of our ever-popular beard bandanas hot off the press.

Go pedal that bearded mug of yours to victory or just snatch one of them bandanners right shere.
