open house at Sew Vicious
Our favorite little DIY and handmade shop at the Beaches is having an open house this weekend. SV carries Burro along with other local and independent designers. If you’re in the area you should definitely check it out and support this store!

Burro sponsored contest

The Jacksonville Beardsmith Society is hosting and Burro is sponsoring a massive beard and mustache contest tomorrow at the Riverside Arts Market. Chris and I will be on hand to sell you a bag or a beard bandana or a t-shirt. I’ll be entering my facial hair in the contest of course. Awesome Burro prize packs will go out to the winnners of 5 categories: Best Beard, Best Partial, Best Mustache, Freestyle, and Handmade. It’s going to be a lot of fun, see you there!

and another one...
This edit is very near and dear to my heart because it features music from our band Chicken & Whiskey. Thanks Brandon!!!

edit from G-ville
Miles is killing it in this edit he did with Elevated Engineering, a clothing company out of Gainesville. Miles is our most local rider and also rides for our good friend Lex’s handmade bicycle operation, Villin Cycles. We’ve been huge fans of Lex and his work for years so when we heard he was developing a trick track bike, we had to get in on the action and combine his amazing builds and attention to detail with the awesome power of Burro Pedal Straps.

EE did a nice write up of Miles with some pics of his gorgeous bike. You really need to check it out!
So watch this video of Miles tearing shit up on the sleepy streets of Alachua County and see for yourself what down-home Northeast Florida engineering can do! Man, that boy can move in some tight spaces!

Damn right, Trick Track Ain’t A Crime!

new strizzaps!
The first batch of limited billboard straps sold out quick. It’s been far too long, but we’re back with a new set. These were cut from a MOCA Jacksonville banner and are available in pink/white, lime/black and coming soon electric blue/black. As always, all the patterns will vary slightly but that just makes them unique ya turkeys! Peep them shitz!

Sorry homie but those red/black splatters are only available at The Letter Shop, our home-base here in the Bangem!
Also, just built up these brand new Premium GNAR Straps that look about as sick as they come.
Every run is uber-limited y’all so grab em while you can!

another collabo
Jacksonvillians will no doubt be familiar with mastermind behind our latest collaborative effort. Chad Landenberger is the dude-bro responsible for what has been quite possibly the most ill annual Art Walk event, the I’m Board Skateboard Art Show. Homeboy even designed our first logo so suffice it to say we go waaaaay back.
Patrick at Pedal Consumption hit us up a while back to contribute a prize bag for the Totally Spoked event in Portland. He was impressed by some of the Artist Series bags we’ve done in the past and wanted something like that. Chad has contributed to the project before and was more than willing to help out. The animal bust stencils he’s made were one of the first things I saw of his and each one has been awesome. For the bag, the wolf was the best fit. Chris put his own touch on it adding black tweed to the double front pockets and shoulder strap. This one is one-of-a-kind but I think we’ll be seeing some more of Chad’s work on Burro Bags in the future. What y’all think?

Check out more of Chad’s work at Eyes Wide Awake.
