new strizzaps!
The first batch of limited billboard straps sold out quick. It’s been far too long, but we’re back with a new set. These were cut from a MOCA Jacksonville banner and are available in pink/white, lime/black and coming soon electric blue/black. As always, all the patterns will vary slightly but that just makes them unique ya turkeys! Peep them shitz!

Sorry homie but those red/black splatters are only available at The Letter Shop, our home-base here in the Bangem!
Also, just built up these brand new Premium GNAR Straps that look about as sick as they come.
Every run is uber-limited y’all so grab em while you can!

another collabo
Jacksonvillians will no doubt be familiar with mastermind behind our latest collaborative effort. Chad Landenberger is the dude-bro responsible for what has been quite possibly the most ill annual Art Walk event, the I’m Board Skateboard Art Show. Homeboy even designed our first logo so suffice it to say we go waaaaay back.
Patrick at Pedal Consumption hit us up a while back to contribute a prize bag for the Totally Spoked event in Portland. He was impressed by some of the Artist Series bags we’ve done in the past and wanted something like that. Chad has contributed to the project before and was more than willing to help out. The animal bust stencils he’s made were one of the first things I saw of his and each one has been awesome. For the bag, the wolf was the best fit. Chris put his own touch on it adding black tweed to the double front pockets and shoulder strap. This one is one-of-a-kind but I think we’ll be seeing some more of Chad’s work on Burro Bags in the future. What y’all think?

Check out more of Chad’s work at Eyes Wide Awake.

so rad
Our good buddy and Team Burro rider, Zack Fortune aka Furoche is going on tour with the Misfits doing something or other and he wanted nothing less than a Burro Roll Top to take on the road. We saw the occasion as the perfect opportunity to do that collabo we’d always talked about with Zack’s apparel start-up, Sink or Swim. His website is still under development but you can see some more designs on his Flickr. We’re pretty stoked on the result.

Zack is printing us some extras that we’ll be putting in the store soon. Don’t even ask about getting the Misfits skull on your custom. Ain’t happenin’.
While he was at it, he went ahead and printed this messenger which we’ll be saving as a prize for Shark Week in Philly.

We’ll be sure to let you know when we get some more roll tops made. Just posted two other roll tops as well that are worth checking out.

new additions to the family
Just posted our new hip bag colorways for Spring/Summer 2010. Christopher Shinn came by with his shiny Canon 7D and took some rad pics that do the bags more justice than my little G9 point n shoot. Our new building provided the perfect backdrop for this shoot. So urban! Even in Jacksonville.
Sometimes you just don’t need to lug your messenger around with you. Our small hip bags are big enough to hold all the tools and supplies you really need for your daily ride. Spare tube, multi-tool, 15, cell phone, cigarettes, whatever.
The medium hip bag is a step up for those who need to carry a little extra. Fits two tall boys perfectly!
Head on over to the Hip Bag page and snatch one up!

It’s been about a year that I’ve been riding freestyle fixed. I rode bmx for 5-6 years before.
What’s the craziest trick you’ve ever nailed?
Nothing too nuts. but this week I’m getting something done that I’ve had my eye on for a while, it’s WRAHW. See what I did there??
How have Burro Pedal Straps changed your riding?
Definitely able to try bigger things with a little more confidence. The straps are consistent and stiff, no floppy hardware ridden straps here.
Where can someone see you in action?
TNT MKE. On twitter being an idiot and most of the time on the ground complaining about my “broken palm”.
Are you currently working on anything?
I’m working on a finishing up a WRAHW edit. Trying to film for a project that’s under wraps for right now, it’s going to be real good. Rails. Anddd trying to out-wit drew.
