one-off bag for fixed fight 4
Sent this puppy over to Todd today. Handmade in Jacksonville, FL by Ursula and Chris. Lookin’ good!

Turns out R.E.Load was tapped for one too. Both bags look pretty rad in my opinion so there should be some pretty stiff competition for these badboyz!
If you’re in or around St. Pete this weekend you should check this shit out. All types of bikes are welcome so get out and support Florida cycling events! For more info check out horroh.com.

t-shirt sale
To make room for new stuff, we’ve vastly encheapened some of our old stock. Most of these shirts are the last two or three (if not the last) of the bunch. Head over to the Sale and Clearance page to get one (or all of ‘em) before they’re gone!

Beard-themed alleycat race
Burro is proud to sponsor the second annual Bay of Beards Beard and Mustache Contest right here in sunny Florida! If you know us, you know we are super proud of our beards and just about anything that starts with the letter B (bikes, bags, beats, beers, babes, etc).
The event kicks off with a pre-contest bike race. We’ll be sending over some fresh Burro gear including some of our ever-popular beard bandanas hot off the press.

Go pedal that bearded mug of yours to victory or just snatch one of them bandanners right shere.

A few events this month sponsored by Burro Bags
Spring is in the air which means it’s time to get back on that bike! Here’s a few events around the country that we are proud to sponsor. If you live in or around one of these cities, be sure to check these things out and possibly win some fresh Burro gear!

Burro Bags is proud to be the lead sponsor of the premiere of Don Giovanni: That Indomitable Hipster, a short narrative film about cycling and the streets of SLC. Chris is whipping up a super-special one-off bag to commemorate the event that will serve as the main prize for the alleycat race. Get the 411 from Dada Robotnik and check out the trailer below.

where we be
Matt, Big Dunn and I (along with our Zombie comrades) will be repping real hard this weekend in Richmond for the most insane freak bike event in history. Holler!
ZBBC!!!

Chris and Matt appear on 9 to 5 for NPR/WJCT
Check out this touching documentary about your favorite bag manufacturers.

Get to know Eric...
If you’re down with trick track, then our man Eric needs no introduction. For the rest of you, PAY ATTENTION! We hooked up with Eric at the Trick Track Jam in Richmond last month and convinced him that Burro Premium Straps were the way to go. As quite possibly one of (if not the) best riders out there, we’ll let him do the convincing. (And you know I have to give it up for a fellow native Houstonian!)

How have Burro Pedal Straps changed your riding?
I haven’t been riding them for long but from what I can tell they’re good. Keep my feet where they supposed to be. What else you need?!
Where can someone see you in action?
Oodles of googles seem to work.

That’s from the pre-Burro days. Just imagine what he can do now!
Are you currently working on anything?
Currently, quit my full-time job. Posted up in Austin just focusing on riding and gettin in a little better health. Planning to move to NYC in a few weeks. Really just working on gettin more consistent and fluid. I’ll probably put another edit out soon. I’d like to work with you guys on a bag design. (As would we!)
Rep your shit…
Brian at Volume is continually helping me out. I wouldn’t be riding fixed without that guy’s support. Also, Jeff Bolt at Velocity for keeping me rollin. Prolly has also done alot for me that I prolly dont deserve considering how hard of a time I give him. Jesse Gordon for the snoodles. (http://jesseallengordon.com/) Kareem Shehab is tits. Fast Folks Cyclery in Austin. There’s alot more but you know who you are.
Sweeeeeeeet! Now cop you some straps and that Skateboard Viking tee son!
