Patrick over at Pedal Consumption recently ran a very positive review of our pedal straps. As you can see, we’ve modified the original design just a little bit. The closure straps are now made out of recycled billboard that bounces back even more than the original design. We’ve also added a stash pouch for, you know, keys and stuff. They’re pretty awesome, but you don’t have to take my word for it. Head over to PC and read what he has to say.

Check out the new stickers! They’ll be included with all future orders as long as they last. You can also come by the shop and pick some up. Feel free to stick them wherever!

Bad news today. Someone broke into our neighbors, Zombie Bikes, and made off with a Specialized Rockhopper, another bike the boys built up to be sold and some tools. Not cool. It appears to be the work of someone who knew what they were looking for. Please keep an eye and an ear out for any leads. Thanks.

Check out this event we are sponsoring in Urbana, IL.

If you live in the area, you should definitely check it out. We’ve hooked them up with some sweet Burro loot for prizes and it’s for a good cause.
I guess it’s about time we start saying Happy Holidays…

Apparently, our t-shirts are fashionable! Who knew. This Saturday at Club TSI you can catch the Main Ingredients B-Boy Crew modeling fresh Burro gear. The show features the fall collection of local designer nymphette as well as our good friends Arturo and Tact. It is sponsored by the good folks at Anomaly, Violet, Wolfgang, Crave and the Clothing Warehouse. Hair and makeup done really pretty-like by Oscar & Lula’s. Keep it wheel and keep it local!

Our good friends at Ace Metric in sunny Orlando are throwing an event this Sunday with an Alleycat Race, a Trick Comp, and what will no doubt be a rager of an afterparty. If you ride in Orlando, you are no doubt familiar with Ace Metric. They have been carrying Burro gear for a while now and we are more than happy to support these guys and what they do. We here at Burro understand the difficulties that come with running a small business and do what we can to help out our friends. Locally run shops like Ace Metric are an essential part of a city’s culture and do far more for their city and scene than any corporate bike shop or department store so if you live in or around the Orlando area, you should definitely attend this event and support local small business. Plus, those Orlando kids do not mess around when it comes to busting rad tricks. Speaking of which, have you copped a pair of pedal straps yet?
