4 MORE YEARS!
That’s what we’ll be chanting on December 17th as we celebrate four years of doing business as Burro. We’ve come a long way from our humble home-based digs to the the old BBB Complex on Main Street to the Letter Shop where we’ve been headquartered for the past two years. There have been some bumps along the way but we’ve always managed to persevere and keep things growing. Looking back we can clearly see that the reason for our success is without a doubt our wonderful costumers and the good people who dig what we do and feel the need to tell their friends about us and spread the Burro word. You are what keeps us going and why we do what we do!
To celebrate and thank all of you for your support over the years we are hosting an alleycat race and giant party. Details on the party are developing but rest assured it will be one for the books. However, registration is now open for the Burro 4 Year Anniversary Holiday Deliverycat Race organized by 904Fixed. Entry is $10 and includes a t-shirt, spokecard, entry into the party, a free drink and a chance to win some truly amazing prizes to be announced. There will only be a limited number of spots available and only online registration scores you the free t-shirt so be sure to sign up in advance. The race will require lights (it’s after dark) and a bag of some sort (a Burro perhaps?). For those of you in need of a bag, all Burro gear will be 25% off the day the race and you really and truly will need one so take advantage!
We have some great sponsors lined up that will be announced next week so there’s still time to get in on the action. If you’re interested in sponsoring, please contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
We’re super stoked to celebrate this monumental occasion with you and hope you will join us in our revelry. To four more years and many more after that!

Chris Lee borrowed my burro bag for FFFF to see how it worked out!
If you guys don’t know Chris Lee, He’s a local in Austin, Texas that loves to ride bikes and shoot photos. He asked me if he could use my Burro Bag for Fun Fun Fun Fest 6. I said sure! Lately I’ve been using the bag for photo shoot purposes, and I gotta say the front pocket to this bag was a great success for grabbing my camera in a instant to capture the moment. Chris really liked the bag especially the easy access to the front pocket for changing the lens. I hope to run into more friends who love to shoot. I want to get everybody’s feedback on this bag. The Burro design team and I plan to make a sweet camera-specific bag that anybody can use, not just cyclists.

HUGE SALE!
Holy shit, it’s 11/11/11! It’s Veteran’s Day, World Metal Day, Reeder’s Birthday, possibly the end of the world(?) and who knows what else?! We love days with cool numbers around here. We ain’t superstitious or big into numerology or any of that mumbo-jumbo, we just can’t pass up a good excuse to party and make stupid flyers. Is that so wrong?

To celebrate we are having the biggest one-day sale we’ve ever offered. ALL messenger bags are 33% (11+11+11) off in the online shop with coupon code eleven and we’re doing 20% off all Burro merchandise in the Letter Shop. Remember this is ONE DAY ONLY! The coupon code expires at midnight and the in-store sale ends at close of business 6pm. Don’t sleep on this people, we don’t do deals this sweet EVER!
For all you Jacksonvillians, be sure to stop by Burro Bar tonight for REEDER’S 24TH BIRTHDAY BASH. We’re celebrating the unholy spawning of our favorite shipping clerk and all-around radical dude-bro with 10 bands (1 of them dropped), some free booze courtesy of Four Loko and a whole lot of insanity. My band Remains is kicking things off at 8, so come early and stay for the chaos.

polo tournament in LV

Attention Polo Heads! Burro is proud to sponsor Crank Gamble, a tournament put on by Las Vegas Bike Polo. Now I’ve never actually been to Las Vegas, but I hear it’s a pretty good time (duh). But before you head out West and blow all your money on slots and slots (sorry, couldn’t resist) be sure you have the right gear to five you that extra competitive advantage. Of course I’m talking about Burro Polo Wheel Covers for blocking balls without deflecting them across the court, top tube pads to protect your manhood and Reggie Pedal Straps for proper foot retention. If you want to show the world that you are a true hardcourt fanatic, be sure to pick up the Polo Jack shirt and turn some heads at the tourney!

Of course, the thrifty/intelligent among you will see the value of our Polo Accessory Pack and save a little money. Now get out there and show em what you got!
For more info, check out the Event Page on League of Bike Polo.
