Our good buddy and fellow BBB-er, Ian Ranne, is bringing a full-on two-day hip hop festival to the mean streets of Duval County and Burro/Zombie are sponsoring. It’s going to be one hell of a rager so mark your calendars for July 31-Aug 1. Here’s the low-down:

We are planning on hosting an open house at Burro during the pizza party. We’ll have a selection of new stock items for your perusal and possibly some other goodies. If you ever needed an excuse to drop by the BBB (1520 N. Main St), this is it my friends!
If you want to read up some more on the fest of the individual acts, here’s some linkage:

Check out these bags in their new home at Gnome, the New Orleans boutique we’ve been talking about. If you’re in the French Quarter go by the shop and snatch one of these one-of-a-kind bags. That “Don’t Blow It” bag isn’t going to stay on the shelf for long!

Check out these killer bags headed over to New Orleans, LA. You’ll be able to see them real soon at a boutique there called Gnome.

Check out the new billboard we just unrolled. You know you want a backpack made out of “Pure Sex!” Or maybe a small messenger bag to hold all your shutterbug gear made out a piece of that camera?

In addition to handmade messenger bags, backpacks, and the like, Burro is also home to a print shop. With the help of Big Dunn and J.O.B., we make hand-screened t-shirts, bandanas, and koozies which are available for purchase at the shop and at events such as Art Walk every first Wednesday of the month in downtown Jacksonville.
All our designs are conceived and printed in shop with good old-fashioned American craftsmanship just like our bags. Every one is printed on good quality shirts and we use water-based inks whenever possible. The designs are done in various color combinations but each style is limited and will not be reproduced so grab one while you can.
Here are our current designs. All will be available in the online shop real soon.
