I wish I could say we planned this all along, but rest assured this was no slick marketing scheme. This is the real deal! In the March issue of Urban Velo we took out an ad promoting our brand new SANTOS Signature Series Chronic Strap colorway designed by Team BURRO's Jakob Santos. Granted, it is a little offensive, but that's how we roll. Well it just so happen to end up just opposite the Editor's page and one sensitive reader did not approve. He is so offended by Jakob's tattooed digits that he goes so far as to wish death upon him as you can read for yourself in the hand-typed letter he submitted to the publication. Jeff and Brad are pretty cool dudes and responded well to the letter on their blog. We had quite the laugh around the office when we saw this and Jakob responded in his own fashion completely unprovoked by us. Haters gonna hate! Well the straps are online now and available for the low price of $50 in our online shop. Or you could always beg your LBS to carry them ;)
