Synconation and Osprey Radio Present the Suntier Music Festival
Our friends over at the Synconation blog are hosting a massive local music festival this Saturday at the University of North Florida Student Union Ballroom. BURRO and Burro Bar are proud sponsors of the event as we are all avid music lovers and supporters of the local scene. The lineup is pretty nuts, featuring some of Jackosnville's best and up-and-coming bands. I had the pleasure of sitting in on last night's episode of Synconation Radio on Osprey Radio with Cash and Ian where we exchanged some witty (and some awkward) banter.
We're all pretty stoked to see our buddy, Emperor X perform, who recently spent some time in our attic recording for his new album. Here's a video of him on a rooftop in Allston, MA.

Although the significance will likely be lost on the Millenial student crowd, The Cadets reunion is certainly nothing to be taken lightly around these parts. These dudes have toured with Man, or Astroman? and formed nearly 20 years ago! It's been so long, they only have a MySpace page!
Antique Animals are another local favorite featuring several buddies of ours, including Milan and Joe who work here in the shop.
Provided we can find a ride, BURRO will have a booth set up to showcase our products and such and the afterparty will go down at ye olde Burro Bar with performances from After the Bomb, Baby! and Neighbors.
The festival kicks off at 3pm with bands every hour on the hour and the afterparty gets going at 11pm. Oh yeah, and it's all FREE so no excuses!
