MTS MUDFLAP 2nd Edition Drop Update #2

In case you missed it, GRIME TV put out this bike check for Mike Schmitt a few weeks ago. In it you can get a quick sneak peak at the new straps where you can see the most important design development we've made to the straps. 

Anyone who rides FGFS knows that all straps break eventually, it's the inevitable result of rubbing fabric (no matter how tough) against concrete and the upwards jerk of the strap against the pedal. Even well-made straps like ours don't last forever but that doesn't mean we'll stop doing everything we can to make them last as long as humanly possible. When quality straps do break, they tend to do so where the straps exit the pedals on the outside. 

BURRO CHRONIC and MTS MUDFLAPS are already made from the strongest tubular webbing available to protect against snapping from the upwards jerking motion but the new 2nd Edition MUDFLAPS go one step beyond.

The side skirts on the outsides have been extended to reinforce and hide the stitching and straps themselves protecting the straps at their most vulnerable point. Think of them as a grind guard of sorts that increases the life of the straps and keeps you riding.
